Inholland visits E2FLIGHT 2020 conference
German Aerospace Center DLR organises annual conference to drive radical improvements for carbon free aircraft
- Date: February 20/21, 2020
- Location: University of Stuttgart, Germany
- Activity: Knowledge sharing
Conquering the sky through e-mobility and zero emissions – this is the vision of aeronautics research at the DLR German Aerospace Center. For this reason DLR initiated an annual conference since 2015 for engineers, researchers from universities as well as research centers, research groups and ministries with a connection or interest in electric powered aircraft.
Project Manager Mark Ommert joined the 2020 conference and represented Inholland for the first time.
Ommert: “It was a great opportunity to obtain knowledge from several pioneers in electric flight and it and most of the information confirmed that we are on the right track for project DragonFly, I am looking forward to following up with some of the speakers to share ideas on how we can join forces and decarbonise aviation”.
